As you may know, this week is Mental Health Awareness Week.

The Hertfordshire Partnership University Foundation Trust is also supporting Mental Health Awareness Week with a variety of talks and workshops are taking place at Stevenage Wellbeing Centre tomorrow - along with the chance to try Laughter Yoga and other activities.

This comes after they launched a mental health survey which revealed that 90% of the public say they still feel there is a taboo around discussing mental health.

In addition to the information for employers, a separate section specifically for individuals highlights what help is available if you're seeking mental health support for yourself, or are trying to help a colleague.

What came out most strongly was a sense that we are reaching a limit on the responsibilities schools and their staff can take on in the absence of additional ongoing funding. We acknowledged that great value could be derived from properly engaging pupils in the debate and including them in the design of proactive and reactive support.
