JUST IN! Lionel Messi speaks with Neymar over transfer to Real Madrid

Brazilian fans are crossing their fingers that the world's most expensive player will be 100 percent fit for their team's bid to win a record-extending sixth world title in Russian Federation.

The jersey of newly-signed Neymar wore on his debut for Paris Saint-Germain has been sold for nearly €250,000 at a charity auction.

Neymar conceded the injury has left him in a "difficult moment", and he said, "nobody is more anxious than me and nobody is more afraid than me".

He added that "it is OK that he went the way he did, he won an important title here, he won the Champions League, won the Spanish league".

"It would be bad, because of everything he means to Barcelona", Messi told TyC Sports.

And the Argentine admitted seeing his former team-mate at Madrid would be a huge blow.

Yet media reports that he might leave the French capital and move to Madrid have been circulating for months, prompting the PSG chairman to declare earlier this week that Neymar will "2,000 per cent" be in Paris next season.

"It would make Real Madrid stronger".

"It's a weight that we carry and we want to overcome it", he said.

Along with Luis Suarez and Leo Messi, Neymar was part of one of the most feared strike partnerships in the history of the game.

Neymar refused to give any insight as to where he would be playing his football next season after picking up Ligue 1's Player of the Year award on Sunday evening.

And despite the club's consistent efforts to brush off such talk, Neymar remained coy over his club future for next season, insisting to Le Parisien his sole focus was returning from injury ahead of Brazil's trip to the World Cup. Moreover, Neymar perfectly suits the Galacticos ideology followed by Real Madrid's President Florentino Perez.

"I have talked to him, he already knows [my thoughts]".
