Alia's father and renowned director and producer Mahesh Bhatt also took to his Twitter handle and stated that "Raazi" is his daughter's career-best performance till the date.

As things stand, RAAZI is certain to end up as at least a hit, if not a super hit as the weekday projection also point to a strong trend.

Raazi saw a minimal drop on its Monday as compared to its opening day which is only 16.33 percent.

Showing continuous growth on the Box Office earning, Alia Bhatt's "Raazi" collected over 14 crores on Day 3 to take the total opening weekend collection to Rs 30 crore, which is fifth biggest in 2018.

With strong content and power packed performances, "Raazi" has set an example at the box office. Friday 7.53 cr, Sat 11.30 cr.

The numbers rose further and Raazi made a collection of Rs 14.11 crore on Sunday. The film has been helmed by ace filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and the director is being applauded for a captivating narration.

When Alia Bhatt was asked about the overwhelming response to her character "Sehmat" and the film, she was quoted saying, "I didn't expect this kind of response. Total: ₹ 32.94 cr India biz", Adarsh said.

Raazi is a period thriller directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.

"The video streaming platforms like Amazon and Netflix are definitely a boon for producers today", said Atul Mohan, editor of trade magazine Complete Cinema referring to the increasing ability of non-big-ticket films to make profits even though the year's biggest festive weekends are still reserved for the typical Bollywood blockbusters.

Earlier in her conversation with a leading tabloid, Alia's mom Soni Razdan said, "I am very proud of Alia and very impressed by her".
