Gareth Bale gives Zinedine Zidane Champions League final selection 'headache'

CRISTIANO RONALDO is convinced he knows how Real Madrid will line up against Liverpool in Kiev.

Madrid boss Zidane was again questioned on the possibility of a move for Neymar after watching his side batter Celta Vigo 6-0 on Saturday and the Frenchman, while talking up the lure of the club, opted to focus on the weapons already at his disposal.

Bale burst onto Luka Modric's pass to smash home a low opener and scored a fantastic second, cutting in from the right, nutmegging Jonny Castro and shooting from a hard angle.

Cristiano Ronaldo was out with injury, although he is expected to recover in time for the Champions League final, and captain Sergio Ramos was rested.

"It's better like this, to have everyone firing on all cylinders", added Zidane.

Bale celebrated by dedicating his performance to his third son Axel Charles who was born on Tuesday.

Gareth Bale scored twice while Isco, Toni Kroos and 19-year-old Achraf Hakimi all got on the score sheet. "It will be a headache to put a team together for the Champions League final".

"There is still one game to go [at Villarreal next week], and then we will play this final, and that's it".

The victory for Zinedine Zidane's side means they can still catch Atletico Madrid into second place on the final weekend.

Getafe missed a chance to stay just two points adrift of seventh-placed Sevilla in the chase to qualify for the Europa League, as Fajr's 77th-minute spot-kick was kept out by Slovenian Oblak.

Simeone admitted the challenge posed by Marseille would be different. We were very professional, scoring six goals and playing a lot of football.
