'Avengers: Infinity War' tops North American box office again

By analyzing the current scenario, we definitely think the film can cross $ 2 million mark but crossing the lifetime of Avatar will be a hard task for the Avengers: Infinity War.

So as of this article, Avengers: Infinity War has earned for Disney and Marvel $487 million, with its estimated budget of $500-650 million including marketing the film has yet to turn a profit despite earning nearly $1.3 billion globally.

In second place, Warner Bros'.

Because of the massive success of "Infinity War", the box office is up 4.9 percent for the year, and a slew of blockbusters coming up are hoping to continue the success, including "Deadpool 2" and "Solo: A Star Wars Story" just one week later.

Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), the film stars Union as a mother forced to protect her kids when the mansion of her recently deceased dad is invaded by burglars. The original DEADPOOL opened with just over $130 million and DEADPOOL 2 should crush that number. The movie also bowed in China this weekend, powering a massive $281.3 million worldwide haul. The performance comes in on the lower end of industry expectations as the PG-13 comedy became Melissa McCarthy's smallest opening as a film's lead behind Tammy's $21.57 million opening back in July 2014.

The weekend's other new wide release, Universal's Breaking In, is on pace to gross about $16.5 million at 2,537 theaters, good for third place. The film follows Gabrielle Union as a mother trying to rescue her children who are being held hostage by intruders in her house. First-day grosses on Friday hit $76 million.

The latest release from Marvel Studios became the fastest foreign film to break 10 million in South Korea, according to Walt Disney Company Korea. Additional releases include Paramount's Book Club into ~2,500 theaters; Global Road's animated release Show Dogs into approximately 3,000 theaters; and Focus will debut their documentary Pope Francis - A Man of His Word into ~350 theaters.

The follow-up, Deadpool 2, is due to be released in the United Kingdom on 16 May.
