Millennium Falcon 'lands' on Hollywood Boulevard

Hollywood Boulevard has turned into a landing strip for Thursday's world premiere of the latest film in the Star Wars franchise, "Solo: A Star Wars Story". For the 2016 premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", an X-wing Starfighter marked its spot on the street. Though there is an embargo on reviews which lifts on May 15, but reviewers have been allowed to post their reactions on social media.

Drawing inspiration from the Millennium Falcon, the one-off Rogue was developed with the assistance of concept designers at Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic.

Merging the likeness of the Millennium Falcon with the Nissan Rogue was an easy decision for the auto manufacturer. Most recently, the brand took over the Wrinkle in Time red carpet.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Harrelson had nothing but glowing words for the young actor: "I'm just very happy you guys got to see Alden Ehrenreich, who I think is a great actor, and I think incredibly charismatic", Harrelson told the host.

The exterior is where much of the workmanship shines. Vehicle Effects also installed 3D-printed components as well as a roof-mounted radar dish and laser cannon. Up front, the multi-pane windshield clearly resembles that of the on-screen hero. The overall product is still better than certain Star Wars dialogue, at least. Inside and out, the Bose system delivers an impressive 1,500 watts. Starting on May 15th, Battlefront II players will be able to enjoy a series of content updates that cover both the original trilogy and material from the upcoming Solo movie. The download comes ahead of the Han Solo standalone movie set to hit theaters on May 25, and it'll be available for all game owners.
