The daring after-party looks from the Met Gala

Even though the annual ball raises millions - in 2017, the gala alone raised $13.5 million for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City - Morgan has his knickers in a twist.

As photos from the Met Gala made its way online, fans could not help but comment that Leto looked a lot like Jesus Christ but fashion fans also loved Rihanna's Pope-inspired wardrobe from Christian Dior's John Galliano.

She got a minor consolation prize in that she did make the list of most-viewed videos (with 3,242,060 views) thanks to her mom Kris Jenner's post. What a fab way to do the theme!

Deepika Padukone was also present at the red carpet of Met Gala but her stylist seems to have lost clue of this year's Gala theme.

The singer's outfit sparked outrage among some. Who did she dress up as?

Sarah Jessica Parker opted for a gold embroidered Dolce & Gabbana gown and a towering headpiece.

Madonna vowed every one with her surprise performance at the Met Gala 2018. That's some flight of fantasy!

Actors Olivia Munn, Zandaya and Priyanka Chopra went for Crusades-inspired chain-mail outfits, while "Black Panther" star Chadwick Boseman was among the few men going avant-garde in an ivory cape with gold beaded crosses, an embellished suit, and gold colored shoes.
