PlayStation's Spider-Man Gets Infinity War Upgrade

The suit, named Iron Spider, is inspired by Avengers: Infinity War, and we get a trailer and a couple of screenshots to show it off. One of these pre-order bonuses is the Spidey Suit Pack, which includes three alternate costumes for the superhero.

"In Marvel's Spider-Man, having a variety of suits for players to use was a must-have for us [at Insomniac]".

Insomniac Games will be supporting the game post-launch and you'll be getting three new chapters each with new missions, new villains and characters, and additional suits for Spider-Man.

The new Spider-Man game will tell an original tale of Peter Parker as he teams-up with the Kingpin to stop an underground criminal operation. This Insomniac offering lets you take crime fighting to all of Manhattan via third-person action, including plenty of iconic web-slinging, parkour moves and combat opportunities. Seeing Spider-Man on the big screen in the MCU with his Iron Spider suit is something we are really excited about, and we knew Spider-Man fans around the world would want the chance to unlock our version of the Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War inspired Iron Spider suit in-game. For example, the Spider-Punk suit allows Spidey to "rock out with a guitar, doing an AoE attack that'll knock enemies off their feet".

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. says he lived through "30 years of depravity and despair" before his comeback. Peter Parker deals with his complex dual life as a young adult with great powers, discovering how his many relationships evolve.

The offer is available for both physical and digital pre-orders even though the contents are only digitally available.

Spider-Man swings onto PS4 on September 7. For more information on Marvel's Spider-Man, be sure to look out for Mammoth Gamers.
