Prince William might have just revealed the Royal Baby's gender

Prince William accidentally gave a major hint about whether Kate Middleton is having a boy or girl.

Aston Villa soccer player Jack Grealish scored the winning goal on Tuesday night's game against Cardiff City, which sent a ripple of adrenaline through fans.

In his excitement following the game, Prince William told fans "I'm going to insist the baby is called Jack", before adding after a pause "or Jackie", according to The Mirror.

"Kate is due on St George's Day which is the 23rd of April", Andrews said on the program, via Express.

Next, an email announcement will be sent out about the birth, at which time the palace will confirm if William and Kate welcomed a baby boy or a baby girl.

Prince William may have let it slip that he and wife Kate are gearing up to welcome a baby boy.

One thing's for sure: the child won't be named George or Charlotte.

Wills and Kate announced in December 2012 that they were expecting their first child together.

If the royal baby is a boy and is named Philip, there's no doubt it would be a nod to William's grandfather, The Duke of Edinburgh, 96, who retired his public duties past year and recently underwent a hip replacement. Or is the new royal addition actually a boy and now we all know it?

A notable name now likely missing from the guest list due to this new announcement is former U.S. President Barack Obama, whom many thought would attend the nuptials due to his friendship with Harry.
