Bills preseason schedule announced

All teams are scheduled to play their final preseason games on Thursday, Aug. 30 before making final roster reductions. But the home preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns re-kindles the "Great Lakes Classic" matchup that the two teams played for 13 years.

A year ago the Steelers four preseason games were against the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers with their first and fourth contests being on the road.

Exact dates and times for Denver's preseason schedule will be announced later this month in coordination with the NFL's release of the Broncos' complete 2018 regular-season schedule.

The dates and times of those games have yet to be finalized. They did defeat the Colts, 46-18, in Week 4 play at CenturyLink Field, however.

Things will kick off August 2 with the Baltimore Ravens playing the Chicago Bears in the Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Jacksonville, however, still holds the overall edge in the preseason series, 7-5, and they have won three of the four of those games played at Raymond James Stadium. The club has done that for its preseason openers the last two years, both of which were on the road, first in Pittsburgh and then Indianapolis. These games will also be the only chance the players have a chance to operate in the new offensive and defensive schemes against opposing teams.

The Redskins and Broncos last met in the preseason during the 2004 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, a meeting in which Washington would take home a 20-17 victory.

All Vikings preseason games can be viewed in the Twin Cities on KMSP FOX 9.

But the start of the schedule in keeping with the team's plans to host training camp in Oxnard, they have the past six seasons, including 11 times since 2004.

Game 3: at Pittsburgh Steelers (weekend of August 23-26). That's always helpful for the regular season.
