Trump attacks 'garbage' Washington Post; Predicts Kelly story 'Struck job'

Earlier this week, a report came out that the president was sick of being "told no" by Kelly and just chose to stop telling his chief of staff anything, leaving Kelly to find out about Trump's surprise announcements like everyone else.

Since taking the reins as Chief of Staff, Kelly and Trump are said to have a tense relationship.

Swan also noted that Kelly has threatened to quit a couple of times since taking over the CoS post.

The three Washington Post reporters working on the story said they interviewed 16 administration officials, outside advisers and presidential confidants 'many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to assess the chief of staff'. Always quoting sources (not names), many of which dont exist. "Story on John Kelly isn't true, just another hit job!".

"You didn't tell me she was a [expletive] George W. Bush person!"

The article describes a testy relationship between Trump and Kelly, with Kelly becoming increasingly frustrated with the president.

President Trump's tweet today echoes similar statements made Friday morning on a New York City radio show, the Bernie & Sid Show.

Even First Lady Melania Trump had gotten upset with Kelly, claims the piece.

Trump, for his part, has never been a fan of The Washington Post. The Post report also said that Kelly threatened to resign in a heated argument with Trump where he attempted to dissuade the President from firing former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Further, Trump has plenty of ire to direct towards The Washington Post's owner, Jeff Bezos, and his company, Amazon. Of late, Trump has been critical of Amazon accusing it of not paying taxes and causing huge loss to the US Postal Service.
