Man runs toward officer with shotgun, police say

San Francisco Police officers work near where police say a driver got into an altercation with several people and struck them with his vehicle before fleeing in San Francisco, Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

"We've done a lot with destigmatizing suicide and mental illness".

Chris Powell and his mother, Sandra Powell Miller, shot video of the scene on a cell phone. As he was trying to get into the home, the stepson and mother stopped him. The two males entered the yard and were then seen getting back inside the tan-colored vehicle and driving off. "Ten cops swarmed him".

Responding officers said that Tolan's boyfriend sustained injuries consistent with the allegation. And said, "you gonna shoot me?" said Romero's stepson.

The second suspect, also a 16-year-old male, was taken into custody for questioning and then transferred to the Midland Juvenile Care Center.

The Midland Police Department extended its "deepest condolences to all of those impacted by this tragic event".

Aminu Sulley is still being detained to assist in investigating the matter; but the victim, the police officer claimed, was still on admission receiving treatment. This video shows officers negotiating with the subject for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, along with officers pleading with the subject to surrender and not reach for his weapon. However, the witness was able to hold him until officers arrived at the scene. Three children were present at the time of the incident. The incident remains under investigation.

A check by officers on a suspicious vehicle parked in an alleyway last Friday night resulted in the arrests of all three occupants, according to Chief of Police Dale E. Alwan Sr.
