The son of Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, newly elected chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, has reportedly joined Hizbul Mujahideen, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said. Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief SP Vaid has urged Hurriyat Chairman Sehrai to appeal his son and other local boys to shun guns and return to the families. "However, the matter is under investigation", said a police officer. The caption of the picture read that he joined the Hizbul Mujahideen ranks today (24 March).
