Mourinho Slams De Boer Over Rashford Comments

According to the same story, Lingard's form for Manchester United has delighted Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho and the club are keen to reward him with improved terms.

De Boer had said it was a "pity" Rashford was coached by Mourinho after the 20-year-old forward scored both goals in United's 2-1 win over Liverpool.

"Rashford is without doubt one of the biggest talents in the Premier League and he could play a big part in Russian Federation this summer".

The arrival of Sanchez from Arsenal in January has seen fewer starts for the academy product, but he made the most of his chance on Saturday.

But Ronald De Boer said his brother had been attempting to point out that Rashford's situation would be different at a different kind of club.

"Normally he's an English player, you want him given time, he can make mistakes".

"I read some quote from the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, Frank de Boer - seven matches, seven defeats, zero goals", said Mourinho, alluding to De Boer's unsuccessful spell in charge of Crystal Palace earlier this season. "He has got good people around him, and they always assure him he is in a good place", Lingard told ESPN.

Mourinho slammed De Boer as the "worst manager in the history of the Premier League" following the Dutchman's remarks about Marcus Rashford's development under the Manchester United manager.

"If Marcus would be coached by Frank, he would learn how to lose".

"But if you go to his numbers and how many matches he played with me last season and this, I would say probably he's in the top five players with more matches in the two seasons".

"The result in the first leg leaves everything open, we don't feel we have any advantage, we are going to try to prove we are better but we don't have any advantage at all". Let us know in the comments section below.
