Laura Benanti's 'Melania Trump' Speaks Out About the Stormy Daniels Lawsuit

She filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Trump, saying a "hush" agreement she signed was invalid because Trump never signed it.

"It's sort of a double-edged sword", Daniels said, explaining that while before she only danced once a month, she is getting far more bookings now.

She did, however, talk about how all the attention has affected her life.

"I'm one of the most successful adult movie directors in the business", she said. "Like I said in the Rolling Stone interview, if somebody came up to you and said, 'Hey, you know that job that you've been doing forever?"

Daniels has been speaking out in the past few days after she avoided talking to the media amid the unfolding controversy over a payment of $130,000 in alleged hush money to her from Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Daniels, who began her career in show business as a dancer in Louisiana, moved to Los Angeles to make porn films.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington lodged the civil and criminal complaint, arguing that the payment may have been a loan from Cohen to Trump and, if so, needed to be disclosed.

And later, an email provided to CNN by Clifford's attorney showed Cohen used his Trump Organization signature in an email.

Avenatti on Friday revealed that Daniels will break her silence in an interview with "60 Minutes", which is scheduled to air on Sunday. She also admitted to "capitalizing" on her fame. "We have to protect & build our Steel and Aluminum Industries while at the same time showing great flexibility and cooperation toward those that are real friends and treat us fairly on both trade and the military". "Melania. Great, great first lady", he said.
