Will Avengers: Infinity War Herald The End Of Heimdall?

Marvel Studios and Robert got into a well-strategised Twitter banter, where the actor argued that wanted to watch the film with his friends before the release date.

That's the million-dollar question now echoing off the walls of the Internet as we approach Avengers: Infinity War, as it's nigh on certain that Joe and Anthony Russo's comic book blockbuster will kill off at least one or two major characters in order to raise the stakes.

We're just a few weeks away from the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the superhero team-up to end all team-ups as the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and other heroes join forces to battle evil alien dictator Thanos (Josh Brolin).

For those of you who don't know, Avengers: Infinity War sees the Avengers and their super-hero allies trying to defeat the powerful Thanos. That new release date is a week after the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson-starring Rampage adaptation. May 2018 is already stacked with the release of Deadpool 2 on May 18 and Solo: A Star Wars Story on May 25.

In that period, which may or may not be called Phase 4, we're getting nine Marvel films as things stand, but what will they be? Penagos took to Twitter directly after the announcement to post a gif from Men in Black, where Tommy Lee Johns is talking to Will Smith saying "Imagine what you'll know tomorrow".

Thanks to the success of Black Panther, it's safe to say that major characters from the movie will now be cut into the next trailer due to audience reaction, emphasising new favourite like Shuri, and Okoye. It may not be a particularly clear, hi-res look at the shirt but we can see that great design style that we've seen in the past two Avengers marketing campaigns, along with some new villains. Or maybe he didn't want the film releasing on May the Fourth just like us.

To which, Robert responded with "Any chance I could see it earlier?"

According to an official announcement from earlier today, the schedule (subject to change) covers three releases in 2021 and 2022 each.
