Shaka Hislop comments on Tottenham target Lucas Moura

Tottenham have beaten off competition from Liverpool and Manchester United after agreeing terms with PSG attacker Lucas Moura ahead of a £25m move, according to reports in France via the Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old right-footed forward has not made a start in Ligue 1 this season and is clearly available for transfer and Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be on the lookout for another attacking option. However, those rumours seemed to disappear once United were linked with a move for Alexis Sanchez, who they of course completed the signing of on Monday.

The Gunners are also keen to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is tipped to join them from Borussia Dortmund.

The 25-year-old has spoken of his disappointment at the lack of game time he has had at the Ligue 1 club this season, and is hoping his nightmare will end soon.

But, with the chances of that happening slim, Spurs are targeting Lucas as an alternative for his fellow Brazilian winger.

PSG are willing to sell the Brazil winger for around £22 million and Tottenham have held talks with him about a move.

He has 36 caps for the national team and Spurs will continue to monitor his situation.

All six of Moura's appearances this season have come from the bench.

Spurs also remain interested in Bordeaux starlet Malcom, but that deal is looking more complicated with the French club insisting he is not for sale.
