Steph Curry Slipped At Practice And Is OUT Tonight, Friday's Game Uncertain

Two-time league MVP Stephen Curry slipped in practice, re-injuring his right ankle in the process. Wednesday's game should have a drastically different feel with Durant back and the Splash Brothers on the sideline.

Klay Thompson is also out for tonight's game at Oracle.

Kevin Durant is available to play after missing the last three games with a right calf strain.

An unnamed source spoke to Connor Letorneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, saying that although the injury "doesn't look serious at all", the team has chosen not to take "any chances on anything this year".

Warriors staff will likely err on the side of extra caution, being that this is the second issue he's had with his right ankle this season, and that he returned less than two weeks ago.

The Warriors will soon hit the road for a 5-game road trip that will feature the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets. Since returning December 30, he has been playing extremely well, averaging 35.2 points - on 57.4-percent shooting, 53.2 percent from deep - 5.6 assists and 5.6 rebounds during the five-game stretch.

How many games Curry is expected to miss has not been released, though he'll likely not return until fully healthy.
