Harvey Weinstein Got Slapped In The Face Last Night

The disgraced Hollywood producer was spending some time with his sober coach at an Arizona restaurant in the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort grounds Tuesday when another patron identified only as "Steve" approached him along with a friend who had been filming the two. According to TMZ, the man, named Steve, approached Weinstein asking for a photo. Steve said Weinstein became "belligerent" and told him to "buzz off", TMZ reported.

TMZ said the person shooting asked if Weinstein wanted to call the police, though this does not appear on the video. Steve tells TMZ he had "quite a bit to drink", told his friend to fire up his cell phone and shoot video of what was about to happen. Weinstein declined an offer to call police, no doubt wanting to avoid any kind of press whatsoever, and all parties were said to have left the restaurant. The deal was reportedly finalized late a year ago, and they are expected to file court documents this week.

More than 80 women have come forward with accusations of inappropriate behaviour, rape and misconduct against Weinstein.

Original reports stated that Weinstein had been punched in the face.

Weinstein has been living in Arizona at a rehab facility following accusations from almost 100 women that he sexually harassed/assaulted them.

Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lupita N'yongo and Ashley Judd are among the women to accuse Weinstein of making an unwanted sexual advance when they were young actresses.

In spite of the fact that the previous studio head has admitted to some wrongdoing and looked for proficient help, his representative has said that "any claims of nonconsensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein".

Weinstein is now under investigation by New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and London authorities.
