Golden Globes Red Carpet 2018: Debra Messing Calls Out E!

Messing was referencing Sadler's recent departure from E!. "I mean, I miss Catt Sadler - so, we stand with her".

Appearing in an interview with Ryan Seacrest on E!'s Live on the Red Carpet, Longoria exclaimed with pride, "We stand with you, Catt!" as Witherspoon nodded in agreement. Cat Sadler, a former female E! co-host, was in the headlines recently after quitting her gig at the network after learning she was making less than her male counterparts.

"I'm wearing black to honor all of the courageous whistleblowers who came forward to share their stories of assault", said Messing during the live interview with Giuliana Rancic on E!.

"How can I operate with integrity and stay on at E if they're not willing to pay me the same as him?", Sadler said in a statement, referring to her Daily Pop co-host Jason Kennedy, 36.

We're barely ten minutes into the E! "And that's something that can change tomorrow".

Sadler said she asked for a raise and was denied. "We want diversity, we want intersectional gender parity, and equal pay", Messing said to an E! reporter, referring to the new star-studded anti-harassment campaign.

In speaking with Rancic, Messing, sporting black like nearly all of her fellow stars, also explained why she feels the Time's Up movement, created to combat sexual harassment, is important.

Ms. Sadler was one of three hosts on "Daily Pop", and she co-hosted the network's flagship "E! We people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men".
