Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra Wants To Be The Next Selfie Phone!

All three smartphones are expected to get unveiled either at the CES 2018 or the MWC 2018 in February. As you can see from the images, there won't be any upgrades to these devices in terms of design. The XA2 will be equipped with a 21MP, 4K-capable rear camera and 7MP front-facing selfie camera. The Ultra model should come with a dual 15 MP front-facing camera (with 4K video) and a 21 MP rear camera, while the regular XA2 will have the same rear camera, but only a single 7 MP shooter on the front. The device was first mentioned back in August a year ago and it is said to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. A fingerprint scanner is also visible on the back side.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra will retain the same 6.0-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution of its predecessor. Enter the Xperia XA2 Ultra, which is looking to be this year's entry.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra are all set to feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor which has been clocked at 2.2GHz. Both are reported to come in two configurations based on 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version.

Coming to the Xperia L2, it will be a budget-centric smartphone and by judging the renders it seems to be a bit chunky as compared to the XA2 duo. It's easy to understand why the flagships remain strongly supported given their high-quality displays with almost-AMOLED color saturation levels, excellent cameras, and distinctively different design doings. The design of Xperia L2 is inspired from current gen Xperia smartphones. On the software front, it is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo mobile operating system right out of the box.

"As for the more affordable Xperia L2, not too much is known yet, but it has a 5.2" HD display and will likely come with Android "Nougat" when it ships.
