Nokia 3310 4G: What to expect in processor, display, OS and more

Launched in January a year ago, the Nokia 6 was HMD Globals first smartphone, which arrived as a mid-range offering. Although we are still waiting for the official announcement, a Chinese e-commerce website Suning has already jumped the gun by listing the device with all the specifications, prices and images, leaving nothing to imagination. The smartphone will be available in Black and White color variants with Gold and Copper accents respectively. The fingerprint scanner which was previously located on the home button is now on the rear.

Nokia 6 features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 403 ppi.

Nokia 6 (2018) model will have a back fingerprint scanner unlike the previous year released Nokia 6 that had a front-facing scanner.

Coming to the camera of the phone, it has a rear camera16-megapixel and 8-megapixel front camera. Bummer. The device will also run on Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box but will, of course, receive an Oreo update.

The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and has a choice of 32GB of 64GB of built in storage.

The great changes of the Nokia 6 (2018) come from the inside. But the bezels on the front are still intact and the screen aspect ratio is still 16:9, which means this isn't a bezel-less phone. The 32GB Nokia 6 (2018) variant will be available with a price tag of around Rs. 14,600 and the 64GB variant will cost around Rs. 16,600. It also borrowed some features from the Nokia 8 for audio recording and photos. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE with VoLTE support and dual-SIM card slots.

HMD is looking to change all that with the Nokia 6 2018. It is powered by a Snapdragon 630 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz. The Nokia 6 (2018) still has the same 3000mAh battery, but the company added support for fast charging with a promised charge rate from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes. There's a longer metal frame surrounding the rear camera lens and LED flash unit below it. Fingerprint sensor sits right below the LED flash. Introduced a year ago, Dual-Sight technology is also included in the mid-range smartphone.
