Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Set For Summer 2018

Now, it appears that a retailer has possibly revealed the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date. The supposed June release is barely within the Spring release window that development studio Rockstar Games announced back in May 2017 when it confirmed it had delayed the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2's release date may have been leaked, with a retailer posting its listing for the upcoming Western game including a launch date of June 8th, 2018. According to Coolshop, you'll be able to start moseyin' in the Ol' West starting June 8, 2018, a date that is still technically "Spring" since it officially ends in late June.

Previously, Coolshop leaked an early Grand Theft Auto V release date, which ended up turning out to be correct.

It's not the most credible of sources. The good news is that a retailer has leaked Red Dead 2's release date and the bad news is that it's not going to be released anytime soon.

That's right, June. Currently, the official word is that the game will be released in Spring 2018, and Spring that ain't.

The sequel will follows the story of another outlaw, Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch van der Linde gang. We don't now know very much about what the game will entail, but at this point any additional entry in the series is exciting for those looking to see the story continue. Rockstar has released two trailers for the game thus far. Red Dead Redemption II is a gorgeous game if we can go by its trailers. Again, this is just a rumor at this point and Rockstar may need even more time to pull RDR2 together. The GTA V leak announced the game's release on a Friday and the game finally came out on a Tuesday four days later.
