Young rapper and grandma become best friends over Words with Friends

The two had been playing the online game Words with Friends together for over a year.

Spencer is a 22-year-old NY rapper who goes by the stage name "High Class Filth". "Today I got to go to Florida and meet her in person", Sleyon, who lives in Harlem, New York, tweeted on December 1.

Spencer was quick to shut down any rumours that Roz may be in the lead when it comes to their Words with Friends battles. They eventually played more than 300 games against each other.

A Manhattan pastor heard about their friendship and helped them finally meet last week.

"Last summer I randomly met this [80-year-old] woman on Words with Friends", Sleyon tweeted soon after the meeting. Today I got to go to Florida and meet her in person'.

Butler was the one who arranged the trip for Sleyon, where the pair had lunch and toured the local neighborhood. Yet the two became unlikely friends as they continued to play Words with Friends matches against one another.

Being touched by their story, Rev. Butler flew with Sleyon to Guttman's retirement home, where the sweet reunion took place.

Their meeting was made possible by NY pastor Amy Butler, who added: 'Sweet day today with Spencer and his Words With Friends friend, Roz, watching them bond in person for the first time'.
