Steph Curry Will Miss Wednesday's Game in Charlotte With Ankle Injury

Former Davidson star Stephen Curry sprained his right ankle Monday and reportedly won't play Wednesday in his hometown. X-rays came back negative but the MRI results should provide owners with a sense of a timeline for Curry's return. And if that didn't get across how badly his ankle was bothering him, here's the video of Curry trying to get off the floor.

Curry suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter when he appeared to step on the foot of New Orleans'?

With the Warriors holding a 10-point lead over the Pelicans with 1:12 left in the game, Curry attempted to go for a steal on a pass from Dante Cunningham to E'Twaun Moore. "Sprained my ankle. See how it feels (Tuesday) and kind of go from there".

Reports indicate that Curry is in a walking-boot and critches with "severe" swelling around his ankle. That said, I'm sure they'd rather not find out. "But all things considered, knowing I've been through this before on this ankle, knowing the surgical repairs from five, six years ago are fine, I should be able to bounce back".

The Golden State Warriors and the Charlotte Hornets collide at the Spectrum Center on Wednesday night.
