Mega Man 11 marks the blue bomber's long-awaited return next year

In a stream celebrating Mega Man's 30th anniversary, Capcom took the opportunity to announce a big selection of classic rereleases and a brand new game featuring the blue bomber set to release in 2018. Its sequel features the remaining four Mega Man games released as of August 2017, when the compilation launched on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

It sports 2.5D design direction, completely hand-drawn characters and environments, a mysterious new Robot Master, and more.

Capcom revealed Mega Man 11 - the first main series entry since 2010 - in a fun little video that walked the iconic character through 30 years of Mega Manning.

Before then, both the Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be making their way to Nintendo Switch spring 2018, just in time for Nintendo owners to become acquainted with the series before the release of the new game. Mega Man had disappeared.

It was no wonder that people really noticed the absence of Mega Man in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and its Ultimate version.
