LaVar Ball reportedly pulls son LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

"He's out of there".

The move came four weeks after LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA teammates were arrested in China and charged with shoplifting.

The 18-year-old has not appeared in any games for UCLA in his short career. UCLA is 7-1 without the three players, although the team has fallen out of the Top 25 before conference play begins. As you know, LiAngelo was indefinitely suspended from the team after he stole sunglasses from several stores during a trip to China.

LaVar Ball told ESPN that he hasn't decided where his son will play this season. "So basically they're in jail here". The detained players were allowed to return home after President Donald Trump said he spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping and secured their release - though the elder Ball publicly disputed Trump's involvement.

"We get back over here and the consequences were even stiffer than China. I'm not going to let him sit back and not practice". While LiAngelo Ball is good enough to make the UCLA roster, he probably has little chance to make an National Basketball Association roster anytime soon.

It's doubtful that LiAngelo Ball can land a big contract in Europe, but there might be some teams willing to sign him. "The plan is now to get Gelo ready for the NBA Draft".

Though there have been signs of stardom for Lonzo Ball - he became the youngest player in National Basketball Association history to record a triple double - he has had an uneven rookie season, shooting just over 30% from the floor.

"I haven't told any of those guys,"Lavar told ESPN".
