Mostly Sunny, Mild Monday

By Tuesday, a cold front begins to approach. This cold front will bring rain to us Wednesday and Thursday with much cooler temperatures by the end of the week. We'll continue with dry weather on Sunday.

As for tonight, overnight lows are expected to fall to the lower and mid 50s for much of the region.

Tuesday.Mostly cloudy. Showers possible late. Temps in Memphis will be in the low 60s around 7:00pm and the upper 50s around 10:00pm.

For now, a blanket of cloud and patchy light rain that spread in from the west across many areas overnight has stopped temperatures falling too low, so for most it's a frost-free start, temperatures already 10C along western coasts. Winds will be very minimal, providing good conditions to go outside and hang Christmas lights or do yard work. High temperatures will be in the lower 50s Thursday.

Some sunshine through high clouds and a bit colder. There will be a little bit of a breeze out of the north around 10-15 miles per hour. Wind: S 5-15; gusty.

Wed: High: 44 Low: 25 Mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

Highs on Monday should be around 70 for most areas with breezy winds (10-15mph) out of the south.

Record high temperatures are in the forecast for the valley Saturday before cooler weather moves in next week. Sunday highs will only reach the mid-to-high 70s, but that's still above normal for this time of the year.

Wednesday Night.Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 30s.
