Micromax has also partnered with Vodafone to provide its Bharat 5 consumers with 50 GB of free data. The timing of this new product launch couldn't be more ideal as Bharat 5 is targeted towards the budget-conscious shoppers - same as Xiaomi's latest "Desh Ka Smartphone" Redmi 5A.

In terms of design, the Micromax Bharat 5 comes with an all-plastic back and prominent bezels at the front. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

On the specifiations front, the Bharat 5 has 5.2 inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Micromax Bharat 5 biggest highlight is its massive 5000mAh battery. The former comes with 8-Megapixel main camera and a 5-Megapixel front shooter on board, while the Bharat 5 comes with a pair of 5-megapixel cameras on board with LED flash modules.

Battery & Other Features of Micromax Bharat 5 Smartphone - The battery of Bharat 5 smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery. This is the most expensive Bharat phone so far as the Bharat 4 came at around Rs 4,999. The device is rated to deliver up to 2 days of battery life and a standby time of up to 3 weeks respectively.
