Destiny 2 Ranked PvP Promised for Next Year

However, there has been growing unrest within the player base over the last couple of weeks, so instead of an expansion livestream, Bungie will be looking to address the state of the game and its plan to address XP and progression.

Long-term issues with Destiny 2's token economy, end-game content, bugs and balance have bubbled away under the surface for months. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2.

It remains to be seen what Bungie has to say tomorrow in regards to the recent controversy, but with the Destiny 2 community now up in arms, let's hope Bungie outlines some concrete answers for where Destiny 2 goes from here. Just days from the launch of the game's first DLC, it's hard to remember a time when there was greater tension within the game's vocal community. Many were unhappy with this change, which is why Bungie will be taking to its blog this evening to address concerns. This has obviously been perceived as a means to funnel people to spend money on Bright Engrams.

All of this has left a bad taste in the mouth of hardcore and casual players alike, and when coupled with the nearly three months of zero game balancing (in the form of weapon and subclass nerfs and buffs), the community is at a boiling point.

For gamers who are home on school break, working relaxed winter hours or simply have more free time in December, they can now try out Destiny 2 free on both Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 starting November 28th.

The previously scheduled livestream, the third and final one for Curse of Osiris, would have focused on showing off the gear that players will be able to earn in the expansion. Bungie will be uploading a new podcast shortly featuring Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy addressing the condition of the game. It's nearly like they completely flipped the issues that they had in Destiny 1 and Desinty 2.
