The series started to air on MTV in 2009 and ended in 2012.

Details about the recent Jersey Shore cast's reunion are finally coming to light. However, it gave birth to a number of spin-off series, which was a big proof of its success.

Since MTV stopped airing Jersey Shore in 2012, the cast that loved to GTL (that'd be gym, tan, laundry) has grown up, and numerous pals have started families of their own.

The series' first episode, airing at 9 p.m. CT, drew a.94 rating among the network's core demographic of people between the ages of 18 to 34, and 846,000 viewers overall, according to network-supplied figures. Just like the original show, there will be nonstop partying and drinking in the hottest beach in town.
