Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has confessed that her starring role in Mother! damaged her relationship with Darren Aronofsky.

Lawrence is one of Hollywood's biggest and busiest stars, with a career that has been going on for over seven years and counting.

"Once I enter a public place I become incredibly rude, I turn into a huge asshole", said Lawrence in conversation with Sandler.

She added that she'll wag her finger at someone, if they approach her table at a restaurant and she'll say "no" if they ask for a picture. "I normally just kind of let it go", the actress said in an interview for Variety's "Actors on Actors" series.

"That's like my only defence". One of my best friends, Amy Schumer, is a comedian.

Speaking of her, the Hunger Games star said: "I take my dog to the park all the time, to Central Park. As soon as I meet her in the park, we're fucked".

Jennifer she tells fans it's "her day off" as she shoos them away.

"Like, if it's Sunday, I'm like, 'It's Sunday, I'm not working today, '" she said.

Adam Sandler isn't anywhere near as brutal as Lawrence, although he does have a tactic to avoid posing for selfies.

"I get it; it's his baby", she continued.

However, Lawrence also suggested the problem is harder for comedians like Sandler, because every "assumes they're your best friend".

Both Jennifer and Sandler agree that fans are far too intrusive and both have different ways of dealing with them. While it's great to have them around the office, or if you work at home, but sometimes it can put a strain on the relationship.

Sandler spoke of his own fan encounters, saying: "When I'm out eating, people do pull up a chair".

The 51-year-old joked: "My life's nearing the end". From here, she sounds like a brutally honest, authentic, relatable human being - which is the main reason why she has so many fans wanting to meet her.
