Moto X4 launched in India

The launch comes after a number of rumours and speculations about the highly anticipated device by Motorola. Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch its latest Moto X4 in India tomorrow.

The Moto X4 will go on sale in India starting November 14, 2017, at 12:00 midnight and will be Flipkart exclusive.

As the norm is, we start off by speaking about the display first. The Moto X4 is priced at Rs 20,999.

The Moto X4 sports an exquisite design that feature glass panels on its front and rear sides with a metallic frame placed in between.

When it comes to the display, there is a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display. On the right, you have the volume buttons and the power/sleep button. The display is shielded by Gorilla Glass 4.

The company is offering additional Rs 2,500 exchange bonus for all buyers planning to exchange their old device with the Moto X4.

On the back the Moto X4 has a dual camera system, with a 12MP, f2.0 main camera with dual pixel autofocus and a second 8MP f2.2 wide-angle camera.

The two sensors work together to offer features such as selective black and white colouring and background replacement.

We can say that this smartphone lives up to its caption "Experience Perfection" as the Moto X4 is an impressive smartphone that has been launched with several notable features and aspects. The front camera quality is pretty good, even in low-light condition.

Motorola has finally brought its much anticipated mid-range smartphone, the Moto X4 to the Indian market. There are some more software tricks such as Quick Screenshot, with which you can take a screenshot by sliding three fingers on the screen. Apart from that Airtel is offering 340 GB data with the purchase of the Moto X4. Swipe to the left opens recent apps menu, whereas swipe to the left acts as a back key. Lastly, tap and hold invokes Google Assistant.

Coming to the basics of the device, the Moto X4 features a Snapdragon 630 chipset which is clocked at 2.2GHz. Moto has packed a 3,000 mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery with TurboCharge technology for faster charging. For connectivity options, it has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm earphone jack, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

The spec sheet of the Moto X4 is quite similar to the Motorola's existing mid-range smartphone, the Z2 Play save for a new processor. What is lacks though the level of customisability found in old Moto X smartphones such as the ability to buy the phone in exotic finishes such as wood or leather or Moto's popular Moto Maker service.
