Carrie Underwood breaks wrist in fall at home

And now Carrie Underwood is currently recuperating after being hospitalized for a broken wrist after a fall on the steps outside her home.

After her fall, the Grammy victor was taken to the hospital, where she was treated for a broken wrist, cuts, and abrasions, according to her publicist.

The 34-year-old was set to perform at the Country Rising benefit concert in Nashville on Nov.12, 2017, but was forced to cancel her performance because of her injuries (via The Tennessean). She was also treated in the hospital for multiple cuts and abrasions, and her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, traveled to Nashville overnight to be by her side.

Just when Carrie Underwood should've been taking some time off after a job very well done on Wednesday night's (Nov. 8) CMA Awards, she fell.

Her injury comes just days after she hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for a tenth consecutive year. Her rep confirmed the scary incident to ABC news and assured fans and reporters with a statement saying that despite her injuries, she's recovering and will be fine. 'Glad I've got the best hubby in the world to take care of me'.

But the segment also memorialized the more than 50 people who were killed October 1 at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas, where a gunman fired into the crowd while country superstar Jason Aldean was performing. I've seen her perform countless times, but this one may be my favorite all time.
