Eminem and Beyoncé Just Released a Stunning New Ballad

The somber, self-deprecating song "Walk on Water (Featuring Beyoncé)" debuted via YouTube, VEVO and streaming services.

Eminem first emerged from a year of quiet last month when he delivered an angry freestyle accusing President Donald Trump of bigotry and incompetence in a video aired at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

The song is now sitting at #1 on the USA iTunes charts, and has sent the internet into a bit of a frenzy.

Beyonce's smooth voice croons on the chorus, singing: "I walk on water/But I ain't no Jesus/I walk on water/But only when it freezes/Cause I'm only human, just like you/Making my mistakes, oh if you only knew".

"Why, are expectations so high?" The lyrics are boosted even further with the sound of paper being ripped off a notepad and being crumpled up and tossed away. I don't think you should believe me in the way that you do, cause I'm terrified to let you down'. It's like he's using "Walk on Water" and "Stan" as bookends of an era, a snapshot of an impressive career.

'Will this step just be another misstep, To tarnish whatever the legacy, love or respect I've garnered?

On Friday, Eminem released the first single from his upcoming album REVIVAL, "Walk on Water".

Eminem earlier released a snippet from the song with an image of a prescription note from a fake drug called Revival.
