Police then arrested a man, two women and two underage girls, all of whom were "not clothed at the time of their arrest".

R-C-M-P said a man, woman and baby were forced against their will from a home in Leduc County and into a B-M-W on Monday morning. The man, whose age was not given, was forced into a vehicle's trunk.

The five are accused of kidnapping a mother, her father and her newborn baby.

The father, who was in the trunk, escaped while the vehicle was moving shortly before the woman and infant were also able to flee, police said. None of three were injured.

The family escaped unharmed, but four of the five naked people arrested were taken to hospital.

"A passerby offered assistance and secured all three in his truck", the release said.

The three were next picked up by a man driving by in his work truck, and the truck was then rammed from behind by the auto.

COPS arrested five NAKED people in Canada - accused of kidnapping a family following a vehicle crash.

"All of a sudden, (the police) got in the vehicle - I think they ripped the doors off - then I saw bodies come flying out", witness Dustin Horutko told Global News. Police believed drugs and alcohol may have been factors in the incident.

Three adults remained in police custody Tuesday.

Charges were pending against the adults for kidnapping and resisting arrest, police said.

The two other arrested subjects are youth and have been released without charges.
