PS4's Skyrim VR Headlines A New PSVR Bundle

Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. It includes the base game, all of its DLC, an updated PSVR demo disc and, of course, the PlayStation Camera and two Move motion controllers.

The VR focus is meant to highlight Sony's history of innovation and groundbreaking gaming experience (with more than 100 VR games on the market and 60 more expected in 2018) particularly as it competes with the Microsoft's newly released advanced (but sans VR capabilities) console, the Xbox One X, Yee says.

Those looking for a hotly-anticipated VR experience and a complete VR hardware bundle may be in luck on or after November 17th: according to Sony, not only will that date mark the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR, but the title will also be made available with a hardware bundle.

"Skyrim" is the one game that fans have been wanting to see and experience in VR. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's stellar reputation hardly needs an introduction, as the title has won more than 200 game of the year awards in its time.

This bundle will come with the updated PS VR system featuring revised design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset, and a slimmer, streamlined connection cable. It's worth noting that while the game can be played using the bundled Move controllers, it's also possible to play using the standard DualShock 4. "We simply can't wait for PS4 gamers to experience it like never before", the company said on the official PlayStation blog. There's also new HDR pass-through on the processing unit so you don't have to fumble around with the cables to achieve that feature from your PS4 to your TV.

The bundle will launch alongside the game on November 17 for $449.99, though it's possible to pre-order from now.
