"Idea customers can now make unlimited Local and STD calls and also get 1GB data for just Rs. 179", said Idea in the press statement. Over that they get 100 free SMSes a day.

Bharti Airtel has announced a new plan for its prepaid users.

The Rs 999 MyInfinity postpaid plan from Airtel gives you 50GB of data per month without any daily FUP limitations.

After the revision of prices, Reliance Jio has a similar offer of unlimited calling and 1GB data per day at Rs 399.

Leading telecom operator Airtel has launched a new offer for its prepaid customers. Its users can avail 70GB of data (1GB of 3G/4G data per day) with a validity of 70 days for a recharge of Rs 448. Daily Voice Calls can not exceed 300 minutes as part of this plan.

It also pointed out that Airtel and Idea have also made changes to their combo plans.

It provides 1.5GB of 4G data and 100 SMS per day apart from unlimited voice calls.

Along with these plans, Airtel has also updated their older Rs. 349 and Rs 399 plan. The telecom service provider also offers unlimited data at 4G speed for 28 days with a FUP of 1GB per day and free voice calling to all networks (Local+STD) for Rs 348. Moreover, subscribers who opt for the new recharge plan from Idea's official website, or from the MyIdea app, will be eligible for an additional 1GB of data at no extra cost.

Airtel also recently indicated that it plans to upgrade its network to support 4G in the next 304 years and will gradually shut down its 3G services. Once the limit is exhausted, then users will be charged 30 paise per minute. These plans offer you unlimited local and STD calls to all networks across the country and are valid for a month. "With our Rs 179 recharge we will enable customers to continue their conversations non-stop", Sashi Shankar, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular said.
