Patriots are big favorites heading into Denver vs. Broncos

With each passing week, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz looks like the real deal.

Stop me if you've heard this one before: Brock Osweiler is so bad, the Houston Texans literally offered up draft picks just to get him and his massive contract off their books in 2017. We all made some good plays.

The Philadelphia Eagles didn't leave much room for nitpicking after their 51-23 blowout win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Osweiler completed 19-of-38 passes in Week 9, throwing for 208 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions.

He did engineer four scoring drives - a touchdown and three field goals.

Any hope that Osweiler's promotion to the starting role would be enough of a catalyst to jump-start a dead offense faded quickly. "We gotta figure out something fast".

Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph announced on Monday to the media that the team would be starting Brock Osweiler at quarterback against the New England Patriots, his second start in his second stint with the team. When asked if he was sticking with Osweiler, he said "We'll see". With the Patriots visiting next Sunday, it would be a really good time to find it and throw it on the field because a 3-6 record would leave little time for such a team to salvage what's been an increasingly disappointing season for the Broncos.
