OnePlus 5T Likely to Feature a Screen Like Galaxy S8

The display apparatus is expected in early November this year, and in the back it looks exactly the same as the current OnePlus 5, but the front have changed dramatically.

However, the top company executives have not named the device from which these photographs were captured but there are some strong speculations that these images are the first camera samples of none another device than the OnePlus 5T.

The recently launched OnePlus 5 have amazed users with the excellent features which were offered at best price.

In other news, GizChina.it has shared a screen shot of what appears to be promotional material for the OnePlus 5T, which according to the report will be out on November 16. Although it is just based on assumptions, we think the OnePlus 5T could feature a Samsung-made AMOLED panel. The specs also show that the device will feature a 2160 x 1080 pixels meaning that it will sport a new 18:9 screen. It is suspected to touch the fingerprint sensor to the rear board also the choice of a bezel-less display. If it's sticking to that practice this time around as well, we can expect the global launch of the OnePlus 5T to take place on either November 14th or November 15th.

Both phones will purportedly include 6GB of RAM, which is less than the 8GB listed in the AnTuTu benchmark test. There is also a 3300mAh battery on board, which is charged via USB Type-C and supports the company's Dash Charge technology for a whole day's battery in 30 minutes charge. The OnePlus 5 doesn't offer microSD support for storage expansion and the OnePlus 5T isn't expected to either. The regular sale (on the OnePlus website) would start a bit later.

From what we have seen in the leaked images, the OnePlus 5T will come with very thin bezels running along the display, quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus minus the curved edges. But, OnePlus 5T is more than likely to retain that feature. Pei this week also took a dig at a review of the OnePlus 5, saying that "review came in pretty late", which suggests the company is ready to come out with the OnePlus 5T, unless we're reading too much into it.
