HTC U11 Plus & U11 Life Android One Might Launch on November 2nd

Member of the news media were sent invites to the HTC press conference event that will commencing in Taipei, Taiwan on Nov 2. The phone is expected to sport a 5.2 Inch display and would be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor. The Taiwanese tech giant will still try to beat the latest premium phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG V30, and the iPhone X by launching the HTC U11 Plus. Over the past few weeks, there have been several leaks suggesting that HTC is working on two smartphones: a mid-range device for Google's Android One program, and a flagship device which will succeed the HTC U11. Buyers are likely to get a choice of two colors - Brilliant Black and Amazing Silver.

The other variant of the HTC U11 would be HTC U11 Plus. This is yet another device that drops the increasingly obsolete 3.5mm headphone jack. As far as the design is concerned, we can expect the handset to carry the same design cues as the HTC U11. The phone is a trimmed down version of the U11 and will include a 5.2-inch screen, a Snapdragon 30 chip, a 16-megapixel camera on both the front and rear. HTC's squeezable frame feature called Edge Sense is expected to be included on this phone.

The HTC U11 Life will be available in two models: one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The U11 Plus is not the only device expected to land at the event, there is also talk of a HTC U11 Life.

HTC has started conveying solicitations to an official occasion on November 2, which many are conjecturing could see the supposed HTC U11 Plus unwrapped. The price is expected to be around US$400 (Rs 26000 approx.), which will be on par with another Android One device, the Moto X4.
