Warm weather ahead for Fair, football weekend

Temperatures will then only rebound to the 40s and 50s across the interior to the lower and middle 60s along the I-95 corridor on Monday afternoon. There is a chance of drizzle, mainly between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday. The combination of this should keep a fair amount of cloud cover around and even some showers.

Highland Lakes residents can expect warm weather Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 as temperatures climb into the upper 80s on both days. Skies will brighten at times in the afternoon, but stubborn clouds will remain at times.

For the lower elevations, rain showers with a bit of snow mixed in by early Saturday seems more likely.

After some morning fog burns off by mid-morning, we will see the SUNSHINE today!

Temperatures are expected to drop next week after this weekend's summer-like temperatures. An isolated pop up shower can't be entirely ruled out for Friday either, but it's a low chance of rain overall. Monday is breezy with partly sunny skies and falling temperatures. Skies will start out cloudy then become mostly sunny.

Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop with a low of 55 degrees. Highs only reach the mid-60s across the area.

"The change in temperatures thanks to the cold front will be dramatic with high temperatures in some places as much as 25 degrees lower on Monday versus Sunday", Deger said. This will ensure quite the dry stretch with plenty of sunshine.
