Jurassic World Evolution gets first in-game footage

Essentially it's a showcase trailer for the game's graphical features and the AI ecosystem populated by virtual dinosaurs.

You can take a look at the footage below. You can check out the trailer below courtesy of MovieAccessTrailers. The game will be set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, previously featured in Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. The butthurt is real. We see them doing all sorts of different things too, front hunting and sleeping to moving as a herd and grazing. There are a bunch of different dinosaurs on display, including Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Velociraptor. Will you build your park for entertainment purposes? We'll likely see a lot more from this game before its release date arrives, so stay tuned. To be honest it's not all that revealing-it looks impressive but there's no gameplay on show. Finally, Science focuses on researching and developing breakthroughs in dinosaur bio-engineering.

There are still loads of questions about how the game will play, and what your role as park manager will let you dictate, but it's lovely seeing the wildlife in action. Depending on how well you adapt and deal with these disasters will determine how successful your park will ultimately become.

Jurassic World Evolution is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One around the middle of 2018.
