'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' trailer drops

If, like me, you're eagerly rocking back and forth in anticipation for the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer, then you might want to cool your blasters for just one second. There will be games, music and giveaways starting at 5 p.m.to hold everyone over until the trailer release.

On Sunday, Disney and Star Wars social media accounts shared the snippets of an upcoming trailer announcing that the whole thing will be out during the Monday Night Football game on ESPN. It'll be in the wee hours here in the United Kingdom, so we'll have the trailer for you first thing in the morning.

Tickets for the film, the eighth in the Skywalker saga, go on sale shortly after the trailer's premiere on all the major theater chain's and move ticketing websites.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in United Kingdom cinemas on 14 December 2017.

Your first chance to buy tickets to see The Last Jedi will be this Monday.

Director Johnson revealed in September that post-production work on The Last Jedi was complete, and that the film is officially finished. Some theater chains are offering exclusive deals f you purchase tickets tonight.
