Huawei launches Honor 9i with four cameras

Honor have just launched their next premium mid-range smartphone, Honor 9i, in the country. It comes with a bezel-less design, a sturdy all-metal body, an edge-to-edge display and not two, not three, but a grand total of four cameras on board.

The Honor 9i display is with 18:9 aspect ratio, which was made famous by the revolutionary Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Huawei's sub-brand Honor launched a four camera smartphone in India today at an event in New Delhi.

He also added that Honor is trying to bring new techonolgy to Indian market to attract young people. However, in India, Huawei is launching it as Honor 9i along with an attractive price of Rs. 17,999.

The Honor 9i will run on Android Nougat 7.0. On the battery front, the Honor 9i is fuelled by a high-density 3,340mAh battery. It comes in Aurora Blue, Graphite Black and Prestige Gold colors.

According to all those information, the Honor 6C Pro is going to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display with the pixel resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This means Honor is planning to launch the smartphone pretty soon. The fingerprint sensor is at the back.

The phone has 4 cameras including a dual camera setup at the front and dual camera setup at the back. Despite the 5.9-inch screen, it looks as big as a 5.5-inch screen smartphone.

Taking its superb Dual rear camera implementation to the next level, this phone is mounted with 16MP rear camera with DUAL tone LED flash +secondary 2MP camera with Portrait Bokeh effect. On the front, the smartphone houses an another dual front-facing camera setup, which is the main highlight of this device. There Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.5/5G Wi-Fi), GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, microUSB v2.0, dual SIM slots and USB OTG support.

India is a major strategic market for Chinese smartphone maker Huawei, a senior executive at the company told CNBC this week. There is also 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which seems to be in line with similarly priced devices like the Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Moto G5S Plus. It has also revealed that the Honor 6C Pro variant that is heading to Germany, Italy and other European regions carries a model number of JMM-L22.
