Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta: Here's the Level Cap

The open beta for all players will kick off on October 6 at 8:00 AM UTC, and will end on October 9.

Unfortunately, GOG users that owned Battlefront II were not able to use their copies of the game to access the GameRanger service, until now.

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta is now live and the download is 23GB on PC, whereas it's 15GB on PS4, and 13GB on Xbox One. The beta weighs around 15 GB, so you'll have to wait a bit. There's even a report of a player successfully getting their code after contacting a Best Buy customer support representative on their forum. It lists the pre-load time as the same as the beta's start time: 8.00 pm AEDST tonight, 4 October. GOG's announcement that Star Wars Battlefront 2's restored online mode means that players can now play the classic multiplayer mode on PC again across two different clients.

Most big beta allow for a pre-load, giving everyone the chance to get ready before things kick off.

Reports have revealed that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" now has support for multiplayer once again.

This could lead to some serious server strain, so expect some problems during the first couple of hours. The full game will release on November 17th.

Currently, those who pre-ordered the game directly from the PlayStation Store appear to be experiencing no difficulties in downloading its closed beta and hopping into the game.
