John Fox leaves door open for Bears to make QB change

Chicago head coach John Fox, who will certainly review this game extensively, could make changes for the home game against the Minnesota Vikings on October 9.

The whole idea of Mitch Trubisky is to give the Bears a chance to win games. He fumbled on his first snap on a strip sack by linebacker Clay Matthews.

As the national anthem started playing, the entire Packers team linked arms along with the entire Bears team, but the vast majority of their fans seemingly stood with their hands over their hearts honoring the national anthem and the flag.

Gbaja-Biamila, who spent his entire nine-year National Football League career with the Packers, retired following the 2008 season with 74.5 sacks.

Through four games, one thing that's abundantly clear is that Mike Glennon isn't a viable bridge as the franchise moves on from the Jay Cutler era to the impending Mitchell Trubisky era.

The Packers defense finally got a few turnovers, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

"I feel like he's had opportunities and things to do well, but that's all of us", tight end Zach Miller said. We'll look at everything.

In the second quarter, Glennon decided that he was not done turning the ball over just yet.

Jordan Howard ran for 53 yards and a score and Kendall Wright took a catch for a touchdown for the Bears (1-3), who outgained the Packers 308-260 and won on first-downs 20-17.

"The news I was given on Davante — everything looks positive".

What had been a productive drive that started at the Chicago 28 stalled at the Green Bay 29.

"Obviously a very poor performance", said Fox after the game, per Larry Mayer of the team's website. "We got outcoached, we got outplayed in every area".

"If you watched the game, " the surprisingly still-employed Fox said after that garbage in Green Bay, "I don't think it was an ideal time to put (Trubisky) in".

As players stood and locked arms during the national anthem, many Packers from management to players appreciated fans support. "United States of America!" while a large American flag was unfurled at midfield before the anthem.

To make matters worse, Joyner's backup Cody Davis is questionable to play with a sore quad.

Bears: Host the Minnesota Vikings on October 9. Many people in the crowd held up small flags during and after the anthem.

Packers: Visit the Dallas Cowboys on October 8.
