GLOW has been renewed on Netflix for a second season

She eventually finds her place in a new women's wrestling show alongside her former best friend.

Season one of Glow was a hit, with Netflix seeing an additional 5 million new subscribers signing up around the time the show (along with others such as the new series of OITNB) first launched. The show, co-created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and executive produced by "Orange Is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohanwill, will return for another 10 episodes.

Set in Los Angeles in the mid-'80s, GLOW follows an ensemble of aspiring actresses and models who unwittingly become the stars of a hot new women's wrestling promotion.

Thier original shows and films are becoming extremely popular and one show that seemed to really win the hearts of viewers was GLOW.

"GLOW" has also received credit for its writing as well as the rest of the characters that give the series a lot of life and sparkle.

Netflix made the announcement though a rather terse press release, stating only that the series will be renewed for a ten-episode second season. "Season 2 is coming".

Now the second season doesn't have a release date just yet, but that's probably because the first season has only been around for just over a month.
