Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pedneker starring "Toilet Ek Prem Katha" has been the talk of the town since its inception. The film opened to a decent occupancy of around 25-30% and has collected fair first day figures.

Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has become the sixth highest opener of 2017.

According to the official statement issued on behalf of the makers, the film got an opening of Rs 13.10 crore. He took to Twitter to share this information and posted that in India, this film has acquired approximately 2900 to 3000 screens while overseas, it has acquired around 590 screens.
