'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 4 To Air Live Finale

Last night, the host debuted the first episode of the Bachelor franchise spoof on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and introduced us to its ten toddler contestants indulging in "passionate play dates", "canoodling in the kiddie pool" and competing for the chance to find true love.

In the trailer, Corinne Olympios arrives in paradise and jumps into the pool with DeMario Jackson.

In one of the most dramatic "Bachelorette" finales in history, Lindsay broke up with Peter and committed to the chiropractor from Miami.

"Corinne was getting pulled away, DeMario was getting pulled away, and I'm thinking, 'What did he just do?"

Jackson was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing and the show resumed production in Mexico a few weeks later without the involvement of the accused or Corinne, the Inquisitr explained on Monday (both will, however, reunite on a Bachelor In Paradise special, set to tape and air in the coming months). We may never know exactly what happened, but things got bad enough that everyone lawyered up. "Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy", Warner Bros. said in a statement.

Production on ABC's Bachelor In Paradise was shut down earlier this summer, after allegations of sexual misconduct were investigated. Television ultimately found no evidence of "misconduct".

When asked how the Warner Bros. -produced series will handle the alleged incident and the aftermath onscreen, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey made assurances that the scandal would be handled in a humane way. "I think we feel good that we do". "When something like this happens, it's always a bit of a wake-up call to have all of the right processes in place".

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights (11:35 p.m. ET), and Bachelor in Paradise returns August 14 at 8 p.m. ET - both on ABC.
